Life is full of surprises. Anyone can attest to that. Not everything is obvious and the sequence of events may not necessarily be the same for all. What may be perceived as right may actually be wrong. It is important to note that the ‘nos’ in life are just as valuable as the answer ‘yes’. When you encounter a shut door, an opportunity that under normal circumstances would have been yours, and you persist and insist on openning it without any success, rather than trying to bang the door or break it down, take a step back and ask yourself ‘Was it meant to be?’ We can get so fixated on what we want, blinded by our own desires not knowing that God wants what is best for us. He will not give you anything less than His best. In His protection, He can deny you what you may think is a golden opportunity. God’s ways are higher than ours. He knows what is best for us and in His divine guidance He will block avenues that will divert you from His perfect will for your life. Hey, taking away an option will force you to go in one direction. Thank God for shut doors because you never know what He protected you from.
Have a fantastic week.
