where designs are very finely painted in lacquer then sprinkled with gold

where it appears there may have been a bit of gold or glitter used also

But I especially love that number 5

E. Dean I love that it is barely discernible, almost like a secret, with an incised border and gridded decoration at the corners, too. A very handy box as well, good for pens and pencils and all manner of small things, with a divider that can be removed as needed. 11 x 3 5 8 x 2 3 8 t and in very good condition, with hinges well
