The heater wire inside the heating spiral warms the breathing gas within the tube. The second spiral acts as insulation, creating a pocket of warmed air around the breathing gas to protect it from the outside environment. The AirSpiral Tube delivers more humidity in the gas in contrast with the older AIRVO tube. The increased warmth and improved humidification offers
