Description
Part of what I think makes it great is its utter impracticality--this thing weighs about 10 pounds
Signed Robert Ingles
and I find it
what really makes this photo for me the is the presence of the second dancer
with red roof
Proud Collie, c. 1930s-40s Painted Folk Art Cutout on Base miniature workbench Part of what I thinkSo handsome! Feels like the embodiment of pride and loyalty in perfect proportion to one another, too. And perfect aging to that creamy white paint. C. 1940s I believe and not a doorstop, just a cutout mounted to wooden base, painted on both sides. I'd situate him near the front door waiting patiently to welcome one home! 8 1 4" x 2 3 8" x 6 3 4" t. Good condition, with one minor spot of paint loss to one side of the green base.
