Vernacular Structures in Marvelous Palette, Unsigned Oil on Masonite Painting forest photo I'd guess this large hand-thrownI found this one at an antiques show in Bath, Maine last weekend pulled out just as I was leaving, and I snatched it immediately. Unsigned, and artist unknown, but I think quite a terrific and also joyful painting (those roofs looking like bubble gum ice cream!) with the color palette making me think of Philip Guston, and these structures making me think of Holland.
