This is an unusual 2011 that needs cellaring

a touch of asparagus gives the wine a greenness in the middle palate but there's also plenty of supporting dark fruit and graphite minerality

Note that this has already begun to shut down and while the future is indisputably bright it’s clear that this is going to require a very long snooze in a cool cellar

after which it should last for 7-8 years

Climens other_regions dark fruitLeaning to the orange side of the style range, with strong notes of honeysuckle, apricots, flowers and stone. The wine is medium bodied, fresh and lively. With time, this should improve as it fills out, gaining complexity on the nose and palate.
