This wine is made exclusively from second-growth Zibibbo produced by lateral shoots
Off-dry chenin (~25 g/L RS)
it still benefits immensely from the regulating force and influence of the ocean
2024 Domaine Jacques Carillon Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc, Cote de Beaune, Burgundy, France Criante the 2023 Ikewen was prettySourced from a 0. 27 hectare parcel in the Voillenot Dessous climat, planted in 2013 on limestone and marl soils. Hand harvested Chardonnay is fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (15% new), followed by 6 months in stainless steel. Bottled after 18 months. Arrives late summer 2026.
